Swing’Août est avant tout un camp de danse, le mot camp prend toute sa signification avec notre événement puisque que 80% de nos étudiants résideront dans un camping, avec tous les avantages mais aussi le confort des tentes et petits chalets. Le camping quoi !!

Swing’ Aout tient absolument garder cet atmosphère conviviale que propose le camping de Laroquebrou. Cela favorise grandement les échanges entre tous, danseurs, professeurs, musiciens et organisateurs. Les grillades autour d’un verre, les parties de pétanques improvisées sur un fond musical avec quelques musiciens professionnels ou amateurs, des danses inédites sur le gazon au bord de la rivière. Voilà l’esprit de Swing’Aout festival, générosité, convivialité et amour de la danse et de la musique swing avant tout. À partager sans modération avec tous les festivaliers.

My first time teaching with Evita Arce was so much inspiring for me. You all know Evita but i just want to say that she is Amazing!!!!! Thanks to her for being teaching with me and also thanks to Giselle Anguizola for being my partner in the Jack’N'Jill.

I had great time in New Orleans, social dancing, lots of biking, lots of drinks,live bands…and had some good times with my parents.

Avant toutes choses nous souhaitons remercier toute l’équipe de l’organisation du Provence Swing festival.
Un événement organiser par Nicolas Rodriguez, Patrick ( Le président de l’association ), Audrey, Patricia… ainsi que tout les benevoles.

L’événement dure 3 jours, du Vendredi au Dimanche dans un sublime cadre provencale.

And we just fell in love with all the people from Swing Step and their friends!!

We are just back back from SwingAout festival, and here is the story…

The festival is from monday to Wednesday and then there is the boogie woogie festival from Thursday to Sunday.
Some of the best teachers in the world were present at SwingAOut festival ( Andrew & Karen, Nicolas & Mikaela, William & Maeva, Andy Splitz, Max Pitruzella…), but we also have our best friends who also teach at the event and share their experience as a local teachers.( Damien & Lise Verron, Seleti Fred, Nicolas Rodriguez…).

All the parties were just perfect, good students, good teachers,good musicians ( The Swing Barons )… we just would like to say a big THANKS to everybody, hope to see you next year.

The second point was that Maeva never done balboa, it was her first time and you know what???!!!!she also got the 1 st place with Travis Matte in the Balboa JNJ division.
At the end of the weekend, all the teachers did the Invitational Jack’n'Jill, i think it’s one of the funniest division of the weekend
Why???
Because all the teachers had to dance Jive,West Coast Swing and Lindy hop.
Thanks to Delilah Williams for getting the 1 st place with William and thanks also to Danick Hamel for dancing with Maeva.
